Driven by a deep calling, Zen set out on a life-changing journey that spanned decades and continents. From remote Himalayan villages to bustling Mediterranean towns, from Japanese temples to Latin American kitchens—he absorbed the world’s wisdom, one culture at a time. He studied flavors, rituals, plants, and people.
Through every encounter, one truth became clear: Healing begins on the inside. And food is the first step.

With this purpose, Zen returned to the world with a vision. A space where people could gather not just to eat—but to nourish their body, calm their mind, and uplift their soul. A place where each dish, drink, and moment carries meaning.
He named it Shaman.

And for the first home of this sacred vision, Zen chose Phuket—a tropical island full of life, balance, and beauty. A crossroads of cultures, flavors, and spirit. Here, the first Shaman Restaurant & Café was born.
